With its versatile 31 x 31 cm (12.2 in) square flat-panel digital detectors, the Innova IGS 630 biplane system is designed to support a variety of interventional neuroradiology and body imaging procedures. It is designed from the ground up to provide the image clarity you need while helping you keep dose as low as possible.
It includes features like Dose Personalization1, which gives you the tools to choose from up to four automatic exposure preferences for your system2. You can also modify any of these preferences3 in any clinical protocol to enable multi-procedure, multi-user customization and thus support well-informed decisions.
The system features Innova CT HD, GE’s next generation of 3D imaging, providing fine image details for visualizing soft tissues such as the cochlea, and small devices such as staples and intracranial stent struts. It boasts more than 20 advanced applications to help you confidently plan, guide and assess complex procedures – such as aneurysm coiling – with Innova
Vision for live 3D guidance of catheters and other devices.


Excellent anatomical coverage
The Innova IGS 630, with its two 31 x 31 cm (12.2 in) square flat-panel digital detectors, is better suited for interventional neuroradiology and body procedures than smaller detectors that do not offer full anatomical coverage of the brain. It also outperforms larger rectangular detectors that may affect positioning and increase procedure complexity in already delicate areas.

The proprietary angiography flat-panel detector offers one of the industry’s highest ratings for Detective Quantum Efficiency (DQE), a parameter internationally acknowledged as an index of detector performance in contrast- and dose-limited imaging performed in clinical studies. High DQE enables better-quality images at the same dose, or the same quality image at a lower dose.

Control your system and images with integrated, intuitive tableside controls. With simple menus, the Central touchscreen lets you control most system functions, configure the system, modify imaging parameters, control your large display monitor, and manipulate advanced applications – all at the tableside. The comfortable, easy-to-grasp control knob makes it easy to pan the table, position the gantry, and perform procedures.

The full-color 142 cm (56 in) diagonal 8 megapixel medical-grade large display lets you view multiple images from multiple sources. Get up to 120 customized layouts, easily changeable at tableside with the Central touchscreen. Zoom in comfortably without loss of detail or pixilation to get the clinical focus you need.

Off-isocenter imaging capability
Off-isocenter imaging allows you to see the vessels from two different centering positions with one injection in one fluoroscopic shot. For example, to verify the catheter position, you can simply move the lateral plane off-isocenter without changing or losing your frontal/AP plane position. You can visualize both the origin of the vessel (lateral) and the distal area (frontal/AP) with just one injection and one acquisition.

Innova Subtracted 3D1

Visualize only the anatomy of interest
Innova Subtracted 3D reconstructs 3D volumes from two consecutive rotational acquisitions, displaying images to help you quickly visualize vessels without removing surrounding bone, tissue, and implanted devices. It is valuable for angiography procedures involving aneurysm coiling, stent deployment, and vessel embolization.


Aneurysm coiling

Brain aneurysm coiling requires isolation of any aneurysm from the normal circulation without blocking off any small arteries nearby or narrowing the main vessel. This requires fine understanding of the anatomy.


You can plan procedures with Innova CT HD, making precise measurements of the aneurysm and choosing the optimal gantry angulations. In this case, you can see a complex aneurysm with two lobes oriented perpendicularly.


You can use the 3D model of the aneurysm to overlay it on live fluoroscopy with Innova Vision. This helps you guide catheters and coils through the entire anatomy without harming any surrounding vessels.


Once the procedure is complete, you can assess aneurysm coiling success and localize the residual neck with Innova Subtracted 3D.

Arteriovenous malformation (AVM) embolization

AVM embolization requires extremely careful technique to minimize the impact of suppressing blood flow in the brain, which could result in further complications, such as tissue necrosis. 




You can plan the procedure in Volume
Viewer, based on Innova CT HD images,
to segment and identify the exact vessels
to be embolized. 

3D information exported to Innova Vision is overlaid on the live fluoroscopic image,
so you know your exact position within
the vasculature. That helps you confidently deploy your coils or embolic material. 

Once the procedure is complete, you can double-check the treatment’s impact on blood flow with the AngioViz application. It provides a color-coded image that facilitates understanding of the vascular flow.

Intracranial stenosis stenting

Before performing intracranial stenosis stenting, you must plan the procedure to select the most appropriate stent. You must also understand and analyze the travel path to the stenosis so as to avoid damaging other healthy vessels on the way. 




You can plan the procedure using

images. You can process the 3D image
with VesselIQ Xpress to determine the
optimal travel path, analyze vessel diameter
through the entire circuit, and ensure that
the stent can be guided to the stenosis. 

You can overlay the 3D information on the live fluoroscopy with Innova Vision and so travel
to the stenosis with precision and confidence. 

Once the procedure is complete, you can use an Innova CT HD image, which reduces streak artifacts and provides an image rich with details of the stent deployment.
